Monkey Republic was established back in 2005 by a few intrepid individuals… Legend says the founders of Monkey Republic were a group of half monkey/half men type of “Yeti” folk, from the deepest reaches of the jungle… Others maintain it was founded by the original members of the 80′s pop band “Bananarama”… Whatever the truth may be – backpackers the world over now know the name – Monkey Republic.
